"The Rookie" is a documentary that follows Drew Polk’s first year as a professional BMX racer, chronicling his journey through the 2024 USA BMX pro series. Starting as a new pro, Drew shares his perspective on learning, growing, and finding his place among the sport’s elite. With preparation for the Grands split between the bright lights of Las Vegas and the final touches at home in Indiana, the season builds toward its ultimate test. Can Drew rise to the challenge and compete with the best of the best? Or will he end up as just another rookie in the shadows of the sport’s veterans?
