How to Blend Student Acrylics Like Oils

In this acrylic still life painting demo, I use a variety of blending techniques to create smooth blends similar to oil painting. There isn't one tip or technique that will make acrylics blend like oils. Instead, there's a combination of techniques that will allow you to achieve the smooth look of oils.

In addition to blending techniques, you need to be able to accurately mix colors. The smoothest blending won't make up for inaccurate colors.
