I watched Atypical in two days and I loved it. Casey gave away gay vibes since season one and I'm glad they're gonna explore her sexuality, it's a great storyline.

This ship was unexpected for me (I don't really love teenage romance because I can't relate anymore lol I'm a bit too old for that), but they are so cute and so sweet and their build up was written so well that I just could't help it (also, Casey reminds me of myself a little bit even tho I was never as confused about my sexuality as she is). I love how they go from enemies, to friends, to something-more-let's-hope-lovers-in-season-3. I love how Izzie clearly liked Casey from the start and that was probably why she was such a bitch to her sometimes, the confusion and the fear of feeling something new but at the same time so powerful and, in their words, "so right" was beautifully depicted. I loved how everything was handled and how everything felt really natural and organic between them, the writers, the director and the actors were great in showing how their friendship evolved into something more little by little...it wasn't rushed and it wasn't out of nowhere, right from the first scene you could sense that there was some tension between them. It was good to watch. And, I'm so glad that 16 year olds can have this kind of representation, it's done beautifully, in a respectful and thoughtful way, and I think that's really amazing. I didn't have these kind of things to look up to ten years ago, so I really hope they'll keep handling everything right (crossing my fingers for season 3).
