Therapy ends many different ways: planned and unplanned, successful or not.
In this video I go over the possibilities, including the "termination phase" of treatment that concludes a successful psychodynamic psychotherapy. This is the 9th video in my series on psychodynamic psychotherapy, the original school of psychotherapy that has been with us for about a century, and that emphasizes getting to the root of emotional problems.
Dr. Reidbord is a practicing psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychiatric educator with eons of experience. 🦕 "More Than Meds" debunks oversimplified or misleading messages about therapy and psychiatry, and explains complex mental health concepts in accessible ways.
