"బావగారూ! వెంకటయ్య నెక్స్ట్ స్టెప్ ఏమిటి?" బయటకు వచ్చాక అడిగింది రితిక.

"రాము, మనం చెప్పినట్లు కాలభైరవ ఆలయంలో విగ్రహం పెట్టించమని వెంకటయ్యతో చెబుతాడు. ఇప్పుడు భూములు అమ్ముదామన్నా కొనే వాళ్లు లేరు. కాబట్టి విగ్రహం తిరిగి వస్తే కాలభైరవుడు కాపాడుతాడనే ధైర్యం వచ్చి భూములు అమ్ముడవుతాయని అతను నమ్ముతాడు. కాబట్టి అతను ఆ ప్రయత్నంలో ఉంటాడు. అమ్మకుండా ఉంటే పాత విగ్రహాన్ని రేపే దొరికేలా చేస్తాడు. లేకుంటే కొత్త విగ్రహం చేయించి పెడతాడు." చెప్పాడు దీపక్.

"మరొక సందేహం. ఈ ప్లాన్ అమలు చేయడానికి నేను, గౌతమ్ కదా రావాలి.." అంది రితిక.

"అదలా వుంచు. వెంకటయ్యను  చూడగానే నీకేమనిపించింది?" 

"మా నాన్న చావుకు కారణమైన అతన్ని చూడగానే చాలా కోపం వచ్చింది. బలవంతంగా ఆపుకున్నాను."
