Beverly Garland (1926-2008) was an American actress who worked in film and tv for over half a century. In the late fifties, she starred in Decoy, the first tv show a bout a female police officer. Garland, a smoker IRL at the time (she later quit), played her character as a smoker and smoked in 2/3rds of the series episodes. This video has clips from episodes 14-26.
