What if the next world-changing innovator is a kid in New Orleans learning to code today? This summer, STEM NOLA, powered by Chevron, brought that vision to life at its 2025 Summer Technology Camp at Xavier University of Louisiana.
Over the course of five weeks, students in grades 3–8 delved into 3D Printing, Robotics, Video Game Design, Artificial Intelligence, and Raspberry Pi Computing—learning real-world STEM skills through hands-on, minds-on experiences. From coding games to building robots, every session sparked curiosity, confidence, and creativity.
Backed by scholarships and community support, this camp wasn’t just education—it was equity in action. It’s not just a camp. It’s a movement to build a future where every child has the tools to thrive in a tech-driven world.
