Ever wonder what the giant Saguaro cactus looks like as a seedling? It took me a few tries, but I finally got some seeds to germinate under very hot and humid conditions (greater than 40 Celsius, or almost near 110 Fahrenheit, and 100% humidity). These seedlings have the potential to become colossi weighing many tons and growing up to 20 meters tall. Some grow side arms after 75-100 years, whereas others remain "spears" that have a single monolithic trunk. Saguaro cacti grow at a glacial pace, so there won't be more episodes, sorry :(
