I’m training for my 3,000-mile horseback ride from Mexico to Canada next year, and this nomad life is the perfect preparation.
This week I got really sick, spent two days in bed, but the rest was full of adventure again.
Life as a Mongolian cowboy is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced: herding livestock, long days outside, and a culture that’s incredibly tough and warm at the same time. Everything here revolves around taking care of the animals so there is food on the table.
