Photographing Chesterton Windmill, Why You Should Always Have Insurance!

What is there to photograph in Warwickshire? Where can I photograph Windmills in England? Well how about this AMAZING 17th century tower Windmill in Chesterton. I spend an evening working out compositions featuring the striking contrast of the crops and the moody sky. I try my hand at long exposures as well as faster shutter speeds, get some sunset colour, lovely sidelight and work the edits to bring out the natural contrast within the landscape. This striking, unique piece of architecture has recently undergone preservation work to its sails, bringing it back to it's former glory. But DISASTER! strikes at the end of my photography session, and I quickly realise why it is important to have insurance on your photography equipment!
