power always remains fixed. voltage and current can be increased or decreased. as the voltage increases, the current reduces in its proposal because it is in inverse proportion.
but according to ohms law, voltage is the director of current. this condition is possible only if the resistance is constant, but it is practically impossible. as we increase the voltage, the flow of current will increase due to which resistance will come into the picture and resistance will oppose the current and the temperature of the conductor will increase which reduces the overall flow of current.
real power is a combination of active power and reactive power. as the inductive load increases, the consumption of reactive power will also increase, which we measure with the help of power factor. resistive load consumes active power which is the unity power factor. when the consumption of reactive power becomes excessive then to balance it a capacity load is added which works by consuming reactive power.
to balance the inductive power, add a capacitive load to the line, and to balance the capacitive load, add an inductive load to the line.
