In The Mood recorded on the HMV label in 1939 is one of the biggest hits from Glenn Miller and his Big Band Orchestra.
Playing on my His Masters Voice Gramophone 102, from 1945. I've restorated this machine into a original and mechanical good working state last months.
The rare metal plate with operating instructions and the extra needle-tin holder inside the lid is because the gramophone was specially made for use in the (allied) army during WW2.....
