This is Pikmin 2's boss theme! It's a loud, brass-centric orchestral theme with pounding militaristic percussion. This theme dynamically responds to boss actions in-game; one example is when the boss is attacking, which will direct the music to cue in an intense brass stinger in sync with the foe's animation.

Instrument ramblings (Feel free to ignore):
This is a pretty basic early Hajime Wakai palette: all Roland SC-88 and Kurzweil K2500 samples. Unfortunately, besides "Bright Trumpet & Trombone", none of the other sounds here have any cool extra stereo information. There is still certainly some extra clarity to be gathered from the source samples, but it does further exemplify this song's simpler instrument selection.
I will mention an interesting fact though; all the samples for this theme are actually baked into Pikmin 2's singular sound effect bank, rather than having its own bank like any of the other 40+ music banks. This is so this common theme and its necessary instruments are always loaded at all times, ready to begin playing if there's a boss nearby.
