I’ve owned this lathe for 20 years and I have tried every method I could find to get the 3 jaw screw-on chuck to undo so I could fit my 4 jaw or face plate. I finally came up with an idea I thought might work so I put it to the test. These lathes were made under many brands back in the 80’s
Hafco in Australia, Warco in the UK and Grizzly in the US. While cosmetically slightly different and some had different options they are all similar internally. I’m surprised I couldn’t find a video of this on YT already.
