Bad voice due to not knowing how to write / read from a script and record. So I just talked and cut it all together. EZ
Following Karmakut's video about team firefights in Tarkov, which was released almost two weeks ago now. I figured, and there has been, a surge in people LookingForGroup (LFG), both in Karmakut's community discord servers and other "LFG" Tarkov discord servers I rotate through.
This video is a reality check for all the people who want to look and feel like Karmakut does during raids but with randoms in LFG servers or with their other Chad solo friends.
Tarkov has a big learning curve in many respects but solid and productive teamwork is by far the hardest. Blue on blue, fratricide, friendly fire. It's all too common in both the large public LFG servers and the more obscure "military veteran" member-focused servers. Teamwork seems to be a hard concept for FPS players to grapple with and even harder to execute.
My advice is to try harder and emulate what professionals do in these scenarios. I know it sounds cringe but if this was a "super hardcore NFL football simulator". I'd probably research a little into what formations do and mean what each position does, how to utilize the team, etc etc. And if the game is doing a good job of "simulating", like I think Escape From Tarkov is doing, then utilizing tools and tactics professionals use in the real world may benefit you.
Or you all can keep team-killing each other and sucking ass with a 30% survival rate while complaining about the momentum mechanics I guess. Your choice.
