This video focuses on Step 6 which is about mounting the motor. It's simple in concept but there's a lot of little nuances that go with attaching the motor properly to make sure the spur gear meshes with the pinion gear. There's also the whole bit about either increasing the speed or the torque be changing out the spur and pinion gears to do what you'd like to do, either go faster or have more torque.
Also, I ended up going with a Castle Creations, 1406 5700 kv, Sensored, Brushless motor, and having a Castle Creations ESC control it. Should be a real screamer. I used the stock spur and pinion gear to see how it does.
Should be a lot of fun on the beach!
