This lift is situated in a mixed use building, it has been installed in 1992 by Tepper Aufzuege
and originally had Kollmorgen MPK1001 control equipment with an analogue ACVV speed controller.
Due to several failures and overheat events caused by heavy usage, the building management decided in 2019 to modernise the lift.
And now it actually runs better than before and up to now had very little downtimes.
The Intec logic might seem cheap at first... well it is, but it is packed with good and useful features and has a very good price-performance ratio.
The Intec logic was made with the focus to have everything running on a CAN-bus system, with this the controller knows the state and optimizes the function of all components.
For example is the communication between the logic and VVVF drive, on other logics the drive unit only gets speed signals and usually doesnt run good, while on this lift the drive unit gets distance commands.
The drive unit then decides the optimal drive curve to travel that given distance, allowing a deceleration to a complete stop without spending any time on a leveling speed.
