The New Krymus Band was a very popular stringband group in the late 70s and early 80s. The Band comprised of 10 lads from Roku village in the Central Province of PNG, won Gold Cassette Award for outstanding sale of their first cassette release.
"Paisi Gabuna" is a tribute to Martin Benny, Papua New Guinea's first professional boxer.
