In this video I talk about Laura Purcell's new book The Poison Thread. This dark tale set in Victorian England with hints of magic and a lot of phrenology is a fantastic read. It sucks you in and the descriptions are such that you can see everything that's happening, even if you wish that you didn't. I rated this book a 4 and I think it would be perfect for fans of Alias Grace who want more.
