QUICK NOTE ON OUR CLOSET: Home Depot contracted EuroClosets for our design and install (so we transacted with Home Depot and directed customer communications to EuroClosets). Everything was professional, quick and sturdy. Haven't had a SINGLE issue with any of the components in this closet in 2 years. It's not fancy but if you're looking for a practical, functional, reliable closet remodel that's cheaper than those California Closets folks, Home Depot is your guy. There's ALWAYS something for every budget. This was not a terribly expensive project. We love them.

CLOSET ISLAND MISHAP WITH HOUZZ: I like the Island you guys, but I can't say I recommend you buy it. First off, I had to give them a poor review because the 300lb delivery showed up with damaged/dusty parts. And you could clearly tell it wasn't from the delivery handling but was PACKAGED that way. Also everything arrived with a TON of dust on it. So I'm thinking this stuff was sitting on a floor in a warehouse for a while OUTSIDE of the box which is probably how it got damaged. I had to contemplate returning it... Imagine having to return a damaged item that is 300lbs though! Also some of the pre-drilled holes were not accurate and we received a couple of flawed screws which makes for a really annoying assembly. We had to problem solve so much during assembly on top of waiting weeks for our replacement parts with very poor communication on their end. When I wrote a negative review including a threat to report the purchase as fraud after not hearing back for DAYS, they finally responded blaming it on everything under the sun but themselves. The end result is beautiful though and I love how sturdy this thing is. But BAYBEE, 'twas a small nightmare.
