Temuco is a city in Chile, capital of the Araucanía region and of the province of Cautín. Temuco is located in the middle of beautiful heights constituted by the Conun Huenu and Ñielol hills.

Here is a walk along the busy streets that mixes the countryside and the modern world of Temuco.

One of the distinctive features of Temuco is the strong presence of the Mapuche culture, who make up 23.1% of the population in the Temuco commune, and numerous German immigrant colonies (9.8%).
