A stunning aerial view of a picture-perfect iceberg near Twillingate, Newfoundland on June 16 and 17, 2025, with a bonus opening shot from Cape Anguille.
Locals told me the iceberg was hung up on the seafloor, which in that spot was 200 feet down. Standing 80 feet above the water, that makes this iceberg nearly 300 feet tall. And likely tens of thousands of years old, coming down from Greenland.
This music from @tonnerremusic perfectly captures this iceberg's magnificence and splendor, but with a touch of sadness as its long existence is coming to an end.
The iceberg calved and broke up two days later on June 19.
