Enterprises has been reported missing from Camp Tato in Shi-Yomi district, triggering concern among family members and prompting strong action from the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) East Siang Unit.
The missing person has been identified as Mr. Hariram alias Biju Magar, a resident of Raneghat, Pasighat, East Siang district, by profession a driver. He was appointed under M/s A.K. According to a complaint lodged by the victim’s family, on December 7, 2025, the In-Charge/Supervisor of Camp Tato called three drivers, including Hariram, to report for duty at Tato. He performed his assigned duties until December 9, 2025. However, on December 12, 2025, the Camp In-Charge reportedly informed Hariram’s wife, Smt. After repeated but unsuccessful search efforts by family members, a missing FIR was lodged on December 14, 2025, at Tato Police Station, Shi-Yomi district. Subsequently, the AAPPTF team of East Siang also filed a Zero FIR at Pasighat Police Station.
Providing identification details, Hariram is approximately 5.4 feet tall, has a mark on his right elbow (wrist), a visible fracture mark on his left leg, and has a fair complexion. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Taking serious note of the incident, the AAPPTF East Siang unit warned that if M/s A.K. Enterprises fails to trace Hariram alias Biju Magar within three days (3), the federation along with West Siang district units will launch a road blockade. The AAPPTF stated that no construction materials or trucks of the company will be allowed to pass through East Siang district during the protest.
Mr. Einstein Ratan, President of AAPPTF East Siang Unit, stated that the federation has appealed to the Deputy Commissioner of Shi-Yomi district to take stringent and prompt action against the In-Charge/Supervisor of M/s A.K. Enterprises for the lapse.
He further appealed to the general public to assist in tracing the missing driver and to share any information at Ph. No. 9741793234.
Meanwhile the Nepali Gorkha units have initiated the search operations, while the incident has caused growing concern among transport workers and the local community.
