Badger Bates, a Baarkindji man from Western NSW, takes his grand-daughter Christine, to the rainbow serpent waterhole in Mutawintji National Park. He explains the importance of the site from an environmental and cultural point of view and the principles for respecting water in the same way that they show their respect to Natji, the rainbow serpent. He also recounts the waterhole's visit during the Burke and Wills Expedition.
