Daytona USA 2: Power Edition - 1st Place on Challenge Course (Supermodel r735)

My old nemesis - the Challenge Course in Daytona USA 2: Power Edition; finally conquered! Mwhahahahahaaaaa!

So, I decided to try out the latest version of Supermodel today, and before I knew it, I was having another crack at trying to finally get first place in Daytona USA 2's Challenge Course. The best I'd managed in previous uploads was 2nd, and man, that was hard enough. Just trying to catch up to the final 4 AI cars is so friggin' difficult -they are soooo rubber bandy. So many times I'd be almost upon them after the big turn by the 'Biceps' ship, but they'd just manage to stay out of reach and I'd spend the entire last third of the race in 5th place. When I did manage to catch up, the final AI car kept being a right pain in the arse. The second to last turn, when you come out of the tunnel onto the Sega Speedway track, needs to be lined up really precisely before you powerslide out of it and on more than one occasion, the final 1st place AI car kept on positioning itself in such a way that I couldn't initiate the drift in the right place and I'd clip the wall or the grass verge. So annoying!

Still, finally done it now, feel I can relax. Phew.
