Al-Ghaffār (ٱلْغَفَّارُ) – The Forgiving

This is the next song in my ongoing Music Epic: 99 Trance Songs for the 99 Names of Allah — plus two special pieces devoted solely to the Name Allah itself.

Each track is a meditation upon one Divine Attribute — a sonic prayer of reflection, surrender, and remembrance.

“Al-Ghaffār” is the sound of mercy descending — the gentle rain that washes the heart, the vast forgiveness that covers every sin, every regret, every darkness with Divine compassion.

Where the world condemns, the Lord pardons. Where the soul breaks, He mends. Where mistakes accumulate like mountains, Al-Ghaffār reduces them to dust.

In this melody, the listener is invited into the boundless ocean of Divine forgiveness — a place where no one is beyond hope, no heart is too stained, no past too heavy.
Every breath becomes a return.
Every heartbeat becomes a renewal.

To remember Al-Ghaffār is to remember that Allah’s mercy is deeper than despair, wider than the horizon, and always available to the one who turns back even once.

Qur’an 39:53
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا۟ مِن رَّحْمَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا

“Say: O My servants who have wronged themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Truly, Allah forgives all sins.”

Duʿāʾ (Supplication):
ٱللَّهُمَّ يَا غَفَّارُ ٱلذُّنُوبِ، ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا خَطَايَانَا، وَنَقِّ قُلُوبَنَا، وَٱجْعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلتَّائِبِينَ دَوْمًا.

“O Allah, O Forgiver of sins, forgive our mistakes, purify our hearts, and make us among those who always return to You.”
