How many of the top 1,000 albums of the 20th Century do you recognize? Featuring numbers 250-201

We're back with a fresh fifty titles from the Virgin Top 1,000 album list. This week we've got numbers 250 thru 201!

As we get closer and closer to #1, I think you're going to find a lot more recognizable covers coming in. The order will certainly be questionable, but that's kind of to be expected. Normally this is where I say something trying to justify a placement, but honestly I can't really complain on this one. There are several albums I am unfamiliar with, but at least this time I recognize almost all the artists (though I'll confess ignorance to DJ Shadow or Orb. I'll check 'em out later).

And usually this is where I would apologize for mediocre photoshopping. I didn't have any this time that I felt were particularly mournful. Maybe 242 was a little on the lazier side...

As a quick reminder, this list was compiled by Colin Larkin. Mr, Larkin's list was created by polling over 200,000 people and was published by Virgin Books in 2000. So while it's not intended to be "the best albums of the twentieth century," it kind of became that based on when it was released.

We'll be doing new videos each week in this series, and I hope y'all enjoy them. And y'know, maybe check out some of the titles if you're unfamiliar with them. Don't be like your parents, thumbing your nose at any music that was released after 1972.
