Unfortunately, videos discussing sensitive topics like child abuse often get the yellow dollar sign on YouTube, meaning limited ads and reduced revenue due to advertiser restrictions.

Our goal is to educate, inform, and advocate for child safety, even if YouTube’s policies make it harder for creators to earn from important content.

Frankly, it’s ridiculous and frustrating that YouTube’s strict monetization rules demonetize important, educational content like this. Many creators feel the system is overly cautious and unfair, limiting revenue for videos that address serious social issues. This feels like a punishment just for trying to raise awareness.

On top of that, demonetization also severely kills the reach of a video because YouTube’s algorithm deprioritizes videos with limited ads. This means fewer recommendations, less visibility in search results, and overall reduced audience growth, making it much harder for important messages to get out there.
