My Honest Thoughts On Superman (2025) | Movie Review

Rachel Brosnahan brings charisma and edge to Lois Lane, grounding the story with wit and presence. And Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor? He’s one of the best parts of the movie. Cold, calculating, and unhinged in the best way—this version of Luthor could go toe-to-toe with any villain in the genre right now.

The music in Superman 2025 is incredible—it soars during emotional beats and adds gravitas to even the smallest scenes. The tone is just right too: it captures that classic Superman warmth while still feeling modern. But as much as I enjoyed the performances and overall vibe, the action scenes and special effects left me underwhelmed. A few sequences look rough, with some CGI that feels dated or unfinished. The third act in particular starts to wobble under the weight of too much spectacle and not enough polish.
