Joseph La Delpha, an industrial postdoc at Bitcraze, describes The Drone Gymnasium as a creative space where people engage with the Crazyflie platform to develop robotic experiences.
Over six days, students from The Royal Institute of Technology's (KTH) physical interaction design course collaborated with experts in drone coding and interaction, fostering knowledge exchange and exploration.
The project aims to create a future space that balances the complexity of the real world with the controlled environment of a lab, addressing the challenge social robotics has faced in transitioning from lab research to real-world application.
The project was made real by Joseph La Delfa, Rachael Garrett, Kristina Höök and Luca Mottola, in collaboration with Bitcraze, KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Digital Futures. and RISE.
