Hey friends welcome back to my YouTube channel.
Today we are exploring Park Guell located in Barcelona.
Park Güell is one of Barcelona’s most iconic landmarks, designed by the renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. It was commissioned by Eusebi Güell, a wealthy industrialist and Gaudí’s patron, and constructed between 1900 and 1914. The park was originally intended to be a residential garden city inspired by English garden towns, with 60 plots for luxury homes integrated into nature. However, the project was commercially unsuccessful, and only two houses were built.
In 1926, the park was opened to the public as a municipal park, and in 1984, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under “Works of Antoni Gaudí.
