Almost 20 years have passed since Etti graduated from the Rimon Music school and amazed the world of Israeli music with one of the best debut albums of all time, "I can see it in your eyes."
Etti has managed since then to go through many incarnations within her creative and personal life, but has never ceased to be revered.
After a long process of approaching religion, Ankri released an album of Songs of Rabbi Yehuda Halevi which sold more than 20 thousand copies within six months after distribution to the stores.
The album, which won the flattery of critiques and received wide radio airplay,consists of 11 tracks, all of them original compositions of Etti Ankri with the words of Rabbi Yehuda Halevi.
Ankara's project began following an invitation for her to perform at the Oud Festival, songs dedicated to the poetry of Rabbi Yehuda Halevi. The songs were later processed for a studio album produced by Patrick Sabag.

כמעט 20 שנה עברו מאז שאתי אנקרי סיימה את לימודיה בבית ספר רימון והדהימה את עולם המוזיקה הישראלי עם אחד מאלבומי הבכורה הטובים בכל הזמנים, "רואה לך בעיניים".
מאז הספיקה אנקרי לעבור גלגולים רבים, גם ביצירתה וגם בחייה האישיים, אך היא מעולם לא הפסיקה להיות מעורכת. לאחר תהליך ממושך של התקרבות לדת הוציאה אנקרי אלבום משירי רבי יהודה הלוי שנמכר ביותר מ-20 אלף עותקים כחצי שנה לאחר יציאתו לחנויות.
באלבום, שזכה למחמאות המבקרים ולהשמעות יפות ברדיו, 11 שירים, שרובם ככולם לחנים מקוריים של אתי אנקרי למילותיו של רבי יהודה הלוי
הפרויקט של אנקרי התחיל בעקבות פניה להעלות מופע שלם בפסטיבל העוד, שכולו מוקדש לשיריו של רבי יהודה הלוי. מאוחר יותר עברו השירים עיבוד לאלבום אולפן אותו הפיק פטריק סבג.
