Road Trip America: Handless Jacques

Hey everyone! Meet Handless Jacques! Where are his hands? Nobody knows! But that hasn't stopped him from greeting visitors to Marblehead, OH for over fifty years now! And when we took a road trip to Jacques in April, we had no idea we were about to discover such an amazing story!

It turns out that we arrived right on the cusp of a grand restoration. A former resident of Marblehead, Mike, was planning on returning after many years away and volunteering his time to repair the massive statue, which after fifty years had become more than a little weathered and damaged. And in this episode we take you through it all - Jacques' history, his restoration, and even discover something incredible along the way when a long-hidden secret of Jacques lore is revealed. So travel along with us to an iconic piece of roadside America, the Maître 'd of Marblehead, Handless Jacques!
