Border Village Mana- Mahabharta was Written Here | Mysterious Saraswati River of Keshav Prayag | Swargarohini Satopanth Marg
In this video we talk about the historic village of Mana in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand, India and have shown its natural beauty. It is located near the Indo-Tibetan border and about 3 km from Badrinath temple. It is considered the place where Sage Ved Vyas composed the epic Mahabharata. It is believed that Ved Vyas narrated the Mahabharata in the Vyas Gufa (Vyas Cave) and Lord Ganesha wrote it down in the Ganesh Gufa (Ganesh Cave).
Nearby Mana village is the Sarswati river which is a tributary of the Alaknanda river that joins it at Keshav Prayag. We talk about the mysterious Sarswati river mentioned in Rigveda and all other Sarswati rivers of India.
Swargarohini is a mountain range located near Mana Village, in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The mountain range is significant in Hindu mythology as the "stairway to heaven" that the Pandavas are said to have used on their final journey, with only Yudhisthira making it to heaven from the base of the peaks. The trek to the Swargarohini peaks is a challenging high-altitude trek that starts from Mana Village and passes through Satopanth Lake, also known as Swargarohini Satopanth Marg.
