The film highlights the contrast between Salford in 1977 and the more recent development at Salford Quays. But behind the glossy veneer, much of the old Salford remains. The music is written and sung by Salfordian, Albert Thompson. I have found several people I photographed in the 70s and I am still trying to trace more people I photographed all those years ago. I now have a photography exhibition in Salford called SALFORD 77 from 28th June 2024 until 29th August 2024 at the Langworthy Cornerstone Community Centre.
