NEW PHILIPP FANKHAUSER ALBUM "I'LL BE AROUND"

Philipp Fankhauser's 15th album has been produced by two giants of Blues and Soul music. Multiple Grammy Award winners Dennis Walker and Wolf Stephenson recorded this Fankhauser milestone at Malaco Studios in July 2017.

In Philipp's words:
Dreams do not always come true. But this time I have been very, very privileged; my biggest dream came true full circle! And then some! I’m proud to take credit of convincing my dear friend, multiple Grammy Award winning producer and songwriter Dennis Walker, to produce this album at the famed Malaco Studios in Jackson, Mississippi.
That’s how Dennis got to finally meet Malaco’s legendary (and I do not use that word lightly) producer Wolf Stephenson. Wolf and Dennis had been knowing of each other for well over four decades, but they had never actually met in person.

The two of them clicked instantly, and with their love and passion for the music, with the help of my incredibly talented musicians and a team of seasoned professionals in the control room, the two worked pure magic!

Never did I have such a great selection of songs to work with, and all but one made it onto this recording. This album is by far my best effort to date! I am one lucky so and so for having been part of this incredible journey.
