Goodbye BFI and Allied Waste Carts

First it was Fremont, now it's Union City. It is very sad to see the last of the Allied Waste carts go. Fremont and Union City had the exact same trash cans for landfill so it sort of made up for the 2019 Fremont rollout. Not anymore sadly.

Quite honestly, I did not at all expect for Union City to do a rollout anytime soon because it would have to be coordinated with Tri-CED AND Republic Services. I was completely unaware of the rollout until I was driving to my girlfriend's house and look to my right in the neighborhoods of Union City and see new Toters with vibrant colors. At this point, I start freaking out and immediately make plans to film the next day. While looking, I found these guys. Super cool people, I'm really glad I found them. Shout out to all of you if you are reading this!

It is very, very sad to see these go. These were the last of the pre-rollout trash cans from Fremont/UC. I'm pretty sure as of now, (3/13/25) there will be one more week of this before it's completely done.

Lastly, this is the ONE HUNDREDTH VIDEO OF FREMONT GARBAGE TRUCKS! I was going to do a cart update but after learning about this I didn't have the choice. So thank you for sticking around this long.
