Unsheltered: Inside a clinic for homeless people | Stanford Medicine

Patients who go to the Peninsula Healthcare Connection for health care range from former blue-collar workers to former software company CEOs. But they all have one thing in common: They lack secure housing. Several Stanford Health Care physicians work at the Palo Alto, California, clinic, treating a population of people who otherwise might not get the routine medical care they need.

Stanford Health Care's Community Partnerships Program provides funding for the clinic as well as numerous other local organizations to improve the health and well-being of a broad range of community members.
