On Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, the Times Herald-Record's Amanda Loviza Vickery co-piloted the GILES G-202 aircraft owned and piloted by Andrew Wright, who was set to fly Aug. 29-30 in the New York Air Show at Stewart International Airport.
The following is a video of Loviza Vickery's experience flying with Wright, plus her earlier flight aboard a World War II SNJ 2 plane piloted by Jim Record of the Geico Skytypers.
On Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, sources and friends report Wright fatally crashed his GILES G-202 plane while practicing for the Air Show.
