Luvcat perform their unreleased song "Spider" at Manchester Academy 3, Manchester University Students' Union, Oxford Road, Manchester, on Friday 21 February 2025.
Fronted by Liverpool-born Sophie Morgan, the band went viral on TikTok in 2024 with their songs "Matador", "He's My Man", "Dinner @ Brasserie Zédel" and their latest single "Love & Money".
Morgan released her first of many EPs as a singer-songwriter in 2017. Her new band Luvcat, in which she is joined by members of The Big Society (who supported on the night), has a radically different sound and aesthetic dubbed 'Romantic Rock'.
The sold-out 480-capacity audience was the band's biggest headline show to date.
