West Japan Railway Company(JR West)'s Himi Line connects from Takaoka, which is one of the large towns of Toyama prefecture, to Himi. Himi is well known as a fishery harbor, and in some part of the route, trains run just besides the shore. Especially Amaharashi coast is called one of the most beautiful beach in Japan. We can see majestic view of the Tateyama mountain range behind clear water of Toyama Bay.
