this is definitely The Project(TM) of the year for me! special thanks to ‪@mrtreebeardsmusic‬ for being down to collaborate with me on this cover. i randomly stumbled upon their metal remix for "your idol" on tiktok one day and thought it went so hard. i decided to shoot my shot and commented asking if they'd be interested in collaborating, and they actually said yes!

i really love spontaneous, semi-unplanned collaborative projects like this. i get such joy from being introduced to other artists, and from putting our creative heads together to make something truly amazing. it's spontaneous collabs like this where i feel like you can really see our love for the art we make shine. i can certainly say i had SO much fun recording the immense number of vocal tracks in this song. and you can hear the passion with the attention to detail that ‪@mrtreebeardsmusic‬ gave to their metal arrangement.
