After you've mastered your inverts, the next pole dancing milestone is your shoulder mounts. Shoulder mounts do take conditioning exercises primarily to conditioning your shoulder for the positioning of where the pole will be against your body. Follow these pole conditioning exercises after you warm up and do 1x to 2x a week based on how sore you may feel. Beginning to train for shoulder mounts can be sensitive in the beginning so feel free to start with just 1x a week and work your way up to 2x a week until you feel more comfortable!
