I’ve always kind of hated the Chinese copies of the US m1 helmet, and now I feel justified. China copied a European clone of an m1 and I make my case in this video.
Is a copy of a copy still just a copy? You could really argue both sides. For me, it’s like photocopying paper. A copy of a copy just removes detail and blurs lines that shouldn’t be blurry.
I really don’t blame China. This is a much easier version to mass produce at a low cost, but it could have been a lot better.
