Making Brownies with a Rice Cooker

I decided to take a step back from 3D printing just for this one video, and talk about my second passion, food!

I was on the market for a new rice cooker a little while ago, and I ran across these high tech, fuzzy logic machines that could do just about everything - including, it turns out, bake a cake! Unfortunately, none of the reviews for any brand of machine I could find actually showed off this function! How rude! So, here is my take on how to do a cake baking review of a rice cooker, enjoy!

The Full (modified) recipe for making Chocolate Brownies is:
Ingredients:
40ml vegetable oil (I use canola)
125g dark (min. 70% cocoa) chocolate
85g flour + 1 tsp baking powder
1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
90g sugar
115ml milk (or milk substitute of your choice)
a pinch of salt

Method:
1. Grease the NINJA bowl
2. Break and melt 75g of the chocolate
3. Sieve together flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl, add the sugar, salt, milk and melted chocolate. Mix until homogenous.
4. Roughly chop the remaining 50g of chocolate and add to bowl.
5. Pour into Panda's NINJA bowl, smooth the top and pat the bottom to settle.
6. Bake for 30 minutes. It should still be quite moist, as it keeps cooking until cool.
7. Leave to cool and then tip out.

Serve with whipped cream, ice-cream, caramel sauce, or just a bit of powdered sugar like I did, and enjoy!
