Pentas Bed Makeover: Using Potted Plants for an Instant Lush Look

Waiting for your pentas to grow back but don’t want to stare at a bare garden bed? In today’s video, I’m sharing a simple trick I use in my Florida Zone 10a butterfly garden to make a recently cut-back pentas bed look lush and colorful again… without waiting weeks for new growth. 🌿
I walk you through how I “borrow” potted plants from around my garden and arrange them in my pentas bed to create an instant, full look. You’ll see how I mix blooming potted plants, freshly potted plants, and a few Florida native plants – including tropical sage and false rosemary – to keep the butterflies and pollinators happy while the pentas (aka egyptian star flower) leaf back out.
