i've been learning this map on and off for a bit since i've been using it as a map that i play when im bored/as a warmup and now here we are. this is probably my best uploaded play, but idk aegle s rank is kinda close and tesseract tech fc is also kinda crazy. anyways i wanted to set some good plays and farm when i got home from uni for fall break and i think i accomplished that :D
anyways a bit about the map itself, it's not really that technical (which is why i kinda hesitate with saying it's my best play), but it's an absolutely brutal map in terms of mechanics. for me, the choke points are the 1/3 trill/alting at the end of the first drop and the sudden 1/3 alting in the main drop. the trill is hard with the sort of staggered movement during it and then the transition out is a bit awkward, my method is to just switch fingers when the movement happens and then hope i hit the transition. the 1/3 alting is just hard to read and accurately hit the keys, i just kinda hope i hit it. other than that, there's this one 1/4 triplet like 30 seconds into the map that's kinda awkward since it starts on left but also transitions out of a lh input, there's a lot of different ways to hit it, but my personal favorite method is to hit the entire triplet using my right hand (so index, middle, ring). the big 1/3 stream is also difficult and really tense but if i'm being honest i don't remember ever missing there on a good run.
i find this map to be a lot of fun though, even though the "quality of the map disintegrates more the later in the map you are", the first drop feels really bouncy to play with all of its pauses (you can kinda see that in the handcam) and then the 1/3 stream just feels super cool and clean to play.
(also, i have no clue if this is the first fc or not, i feel like yoreii did one but the play i thought was an fc was a 2 miss, doesn't change how i see this play though)
