The power and speed of our Karate techniques is, among others, generated by flexing and relaxing the muscles of the different parts of our body at a certain moment… It all depends on the right timing. Movements may look simple, they really are a complex motion sequence. That´s what makes the correct execution of the techniques so difficult and our Karate training so interesting.
Shinji Akita on the right timing and other aspects of Shotokan Karate techniques during his seminar in May 2019 in France.
The event in Grenoble (Gières, Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France) was organised by Sensei Vincent Milazzo and his team from SKAI France.
