The cornerstone of the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady)was laid on May 27, 1994. It was restored and reopened in 2005. One of the world's largest sandstone buildings, it is an outstanding example of Protestant religious architecture, standing 91 meters tall, and is a beautiful church in the Baroque style.
