I show you 4 methods that can restore yellowed and tarnished plastic or polycarbonate headlights.
I start first by showing you how to remove the scratches.
Then I do a medium and then a fine sanding which allows 3 of the 4 renovation methods to be applied.
I do a chemical polishing method.
Then I do a mechanical polishing method.
Then another method is done by applying a varnish.
Finally I test the wipes method.
Then to assess how long each method lasts, I expose the renovated headlights to ultraviolet light.
Finally I compare the 4 methods in terms of visual result, difficulty of implementation, necessary tools,
durability and price.
